I ate til 7:30 last night. I could have stopped at 7, but those digestive cookies were calling me. 4 of them to be honest. I’ve been fasting for about a month now. At times I feel like a have a decent handle on it in that I don’t give in to every craving and say “no” a lot. Dude at work is eating one meal a day for his intermittent fasting. I am far from that. I love to eat. I love the social of eating with people. I’m just proud that I’m not eating at all hours of the day, especially just before I go to bed. It’s still a bit of a struggle some days, but slow and steady as they say.
Day food:
- Plain oatmeal/flax with granola
- Omelet and a slice of bread – onions, kalbasa, spinach, grape tomatoes, cheese
- Cherry tea
- 6 glasses of water
- Baby carrots and hummus x2 – supplement lunch, snack on the way home
Night food:
- Pho
- 4 digestive cookies
I noticed I had such a headache in the morning. But once I had my oatmeal I felt SO much better. Like I couldn’t believe how much better I felt. Now I think I need to look into what foods to break the fast with. The window to eat makes sense so I’m not pigging out from the moment I wake up until I go to bed. But maybe I’m not getting enough nutrients? I am eating the wrong food combos at the wrong time. Ive been watching youtube videos about this ans definately shouldnt mix fat with carbs. But I love my crackers smeared with herbed cream cheese as a snack! Maybe keto would help? Not even sure I could handle that. I love my carbs. I’ve cut back, and eat more complex carbs blah blah blah. The weekend is coming, Thank God!
