Another rough night. A car alarm went off at 11 multiple times, so that was hard to get back to sleep. Then babu woke up at 11, 1, 2:30, 4:30, 5:30, and I finally rolled out at 6:15 a bit concerned I slept through 2 alarms.
No slow wake up. Time to get a move on. Was talking with hubby when baby woke up 15 minutes later. Ugh. Cuddle time to calm him down and now I don’t have time to straighten my hair. TGIF! It will have to be a messy waves day. Flip the head upside down and scrunch some water and then mousse. Teeth, face, clothes and I still need to pack lunch. I could buy, but that’s a slippery slope. It’s tasty, convenient but, also calorie heavy and pricey. I’ll save for the day when I meet up with some of the old gang. I have a few lunch dates on the books. I go downstairs and pack up left over noodles from Sunday. They’re still good right?? Well, we’ll see đŸ˜‚ Not great calorie wise I think. Now I’m on the fence to ditch it and buy something healthier. Inside out burrito, sub, make my own salad from longos, or maybe some yummy soup. Ugh. I just made myself hungry with all this food talk.
Last night we went for pho and I was able to finish eating just before 7. Helps I caught an earlier train. Once the real world comes into play and I’m out the training bubble hopefully I’ll figure a good routine to keep this up. Having an eating window from 11-8 sounds more realistic, but waiting to eat till 11 feels like forever right now. Maybe when I start the apple cider vinegar/lemon/honey in water as part of my routine I’ll be able to do it. I’m not quite at 16-8 (16 hour fast, 8 hour eat window) but 15 hours so far is doable this week. Yah me! I’m happy to keep the schedule, but need to get my snacking under control. Had 8 Triscuit crackers as a snack in the afternoon. Better than the Halloween chocolates I’ve been having. Drink more water I guess.
First week down and I’m still enjoying the new job. I remember after the first week my freaking eye was twitching at the last gig. Never really a chance to really get into it. Was asked to MC the townhall when I was there less than a month. I did well, but it did not come without some stress. I bring it up because that darkness makes this light at the new gig shine that much brighter.
Snacks turned out to include:
- 3 peak freans cranberry oat cookie
- 2 squares of fruit and nut chocolate
- 1 banana
- 1 hummus snack dip and mini carrots
- 1 tea black no sugar
- 7 glasses of water
Dinner will be later because it’s Friday, but maybe I can last tomorrow morning. Orange fitness class in the morning should help that. See how that goes.
First week down. Finished initial training. Slight headache. But glad I survived.
