It was a little harder this morning. Baby woke up 3-5 times last night, Hubby was on the machine, so another rough morning for him too. Was messaging with my cuz a bit this morning. There’s a 12-hour difference so not too ridiculous an hour for her. She’s doing intermittent fasting also and shared what her hours look like.
- Apple Cider Vinegar (acv) with lemon in warm water in the morning (usually with a touch of honey, but she’d run out)
- A cup of coffee at brunch
- Eat at 1:30ish
I thought it was crazy late. I definately could not wait till then. But considering she doesn’t get up till 9ish, 4.5 hours later is about the same as me. I’ve read that acv will surpress hunger, so think I’ll try and add that to my regime. Likely will keep a small bottle of acv and honey at work.
I survived fasting this morning even though I ate past 7 pm last night. I by-passed the coffee this morning to help me limit myself to one cup a day and drank 3-cups of water. We didn’t get our first break from training till 11am, so that helped big time. Once break hit I chowed down:
- 1 peak frean bran crunch cookie
- 1 peak frean cranberry citrus oat crunch cookie
Training was a bit painful. It’s good still as it helps me to identify where I would make improvements in my own facilitation skills and that I am very good at what I do. Lunch came and I had my leftovers:
- 2 skinless, boneless BBQ chicken thighs
- Roasted peppers
- Roasted sweet potato
- What was left of each salad – Romain bits, coleslaw and what was left of the shredded lettuce from taco night
I ate and got to walking. Luckily I was able to talk to my bestie while I walked around and try and reach that 10k steps daily. Next thing I know I’m running behind and I’m speed walking back. Sweaty and out of breath I made it back 2 minutes late. Trainer wasn’t there yet, so I’m going to say I was on time. The trainer is not feeling well and you can tell she’s kind of struggling or maybe this is her. We’ll see.
This morning it was snowing and there’s a fair amount of snow on the ground. I left my snow shoes for my big boy. Need to buy him new boots and snow pants. Advantages of being the first born and growing you get new stuff almost every year. Disadvantage that I don’t have it for him yet. I wore runners. I barely have to walk outside, so no big deal. Thank you PATH designers!
Can’t wait to get home and cuddle all my boys.
